Cline’s Heating and Air (“Cline’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit clinesairconditioning.com (the “Site”), call or text us, book service, or otherwise do business with us, and how we use, share and protect that information.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact details, such as your name, phone number, email address and service address.
- Service details, such as the equipment you have, the problem you’re experiencing, photos you send, and your preferred appointment times.
- Account and job history, such as past appointments, estimates, invoices, maintenance plan (Cline’s Club) membership and equipment warranty information.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on the Site.
- Financing applications. If you apply for financing, your application is submitted to and processed by the third-party lender under its own privacy policy.
- Communications, including messages you send through forms, email, text message, chat or social media.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, general location (city or region), pages viewed, referring website, and how you arrived at the Site (for example, by clicking an online ad). We collect this using cookies, pixels and similar technologies. See “Cookies, Analytics and Advertising” below.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from our scheduling and customer management software, advertising and analytics partners, review platforms, equipment manufacturers (for warranty registration), and people who refer you to us.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your requests, provide estimates, and schedule, perform and follow up on service.
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders, technician arrival notices and service updates.
- To process payments, financing requests, maintenance plan memberships and warranty registrations.
- To provide customer support and request feedback or reviews.
- To send offers, seasonal reminders and other marketing, where permitted. You can opt out at any time.
- To measure and improve the Site, our advertising and our services.
- To protect against fraud, spam and misuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as scheduling and field service software, website hosting, form processing, email and text messaging, payment processing and IT support. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Financing partners, when you choose to apply for financing.
- Equipment manufacturers and distributors, for warranty registration, rebates or claims related to equipment we install or service.
- Advertising and analytics partners, such as Google and Meta, which receive information collected through cookies and pixels (see below).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Cline’s, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of all or part of our business.
Text Messaging (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and opt in, Cline’s Heating and Air may send you text messages, including automated texts. These may include:
- Service messages: appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival notices, service updates, estimates and customer care.
- Marketing messages: promotions, special offers, seasonal tune-up and maintenance reminders, and Cline’s Club membership news.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also call us at 509-443-6146. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing categories above and will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our text messages for us.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site, to remember preferences, and to measure and improve our advertising. This may include tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta Pixel. These partners may use cookies to show you our ads on other websites and apps and to measure how well our ads perform.

The Site may link to or embed third-party websites and services, such as online booking, financing applications, maps, review sites and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide services, maintain service and warranty records, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- Email: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
- Access, correction or deletion: contact us using the details below to ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we must keep by law or for warranty purposes.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
