Excellent service from the technician who was also professional, prepared, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and honest-and NOT creepy (which is not always true of in-home techs from other places). It was a diagnostic appointment and there was uncertainty about what the problem was, because of course, it didn’t do it while he was here (this was a second opinion because the first person also didn’t know-so it wasn’t lack of skill). He presented two things it could be and gave instructions for what to listen and watch for, to help figure out the problem rather than suggesting we act on an unknown. For each of the potential sources, there were several options presented for how they could be best resolved. He provided an honest breakdown of the possible cost for each, as well as naming the most cost efficient way to handle each and explaining why. He started with the most inexpensive way to get the job done well, which was a refreshing change from others we’ve worked with. It was clear the issue isn’t causing more damage or unsafe, and the system is still working, so we were encouraged not to do anything with it right now. We were provided instructions for what to watch for to know when it IS time to act, so we didn’t end up in a bind. There was ZERO trying to upsell, over diagnose the problem, or guess. He did quality work, was timely, and cleaned up so well I didn’t even know he had been there. I was also home alone when the technician was here, and I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe in any way. This company is exceptional! We will be calling Cline’s whenever we need furnace/AC work again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC work done. We really appreciated their work ethic, honesty, and integrity. And they are just good people!
