Save the Fort - Davenport, WA

Help Save The Fort – A Beloved Local Davenport, WA Restaurant in Crisis
The Fort isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a second chance, a family legacy, and a piece of our community’s heart. But right now, it’s in danger of closing.
 
The Problem:
The Fort has been running on spring-fed water. The law has changed and it is no longer acceptable for a business to run off of spring water. In order to bring everything up to current code, They have to put in a new well. They have been given a deadline to have their new well put in by July 20. To stay open, they urgently need to:
• Dig their own private well
• Build a road for access
 
Every penny raised will go into this business and without it, the doors could close.
 
A Story Worth Saving:
Owner Stephen turned his life around when he bought The Fort—a place once owned by his grandfather, Bob. It became more than a restaurant. It became a symbol of second chances, hard work, and community. Stephen and his wife Steph have poured their hearts into The Fort. Now, we’re asking the community to pour theirs right back.
 
We’re Not Just Watching—We’re Working:
Cline’s Heating & Air has already donated HVAC equipment and services to The Fort to support this effort. Now, we’re hosting a community fundraiser on June 28—but we’re also counting on the wider community to help us reach the full goal.

From start to finish working with Cline’s was excellent. John did a thorough job when we first contacted Cline’s for a quote on a new system, he walked us through various options and never tried to oversell. Had our yearly A/C ” pre season” inspection and tune up. Since this is part of my service contract I cannot comment on the cost bust I can certainly give an A+ rating to the tech, Nate Stone. He performed my furnace pre season check last year so it was great to have someone familiar with my system back. His competence, thoroughness and concern for my home were reassuring. He completely explained what he saw, what he did and left me with complete confidence that both of my A/C are ready for trouble free summer cooling season .
