About Our Company

Cline’s Air Conditioning Service, Inc was started in January 1988 as a family owned and locally operated company by Jim and Sharon Cline. The company was built on the foundation that if we treat our customers the same as we would like to be treated, quality, craftsmanship, honesty, and fairness will always be an outcome in all areas of the business. 
 
Today, their son David Cline, and daughter, Helen Blyton, own the company and continue to operate it with this same philosophy. They strive to treat their customers as they want to be treated.

David Cline graduated high school in 1978 and served 4 years in the Marine Corps. He spent numerous years in the corporate arena working on commercial mechanical equipment before he joined the company in 1994.  

Helen Blyton graduated high school in 1981. She spent the next 16 years working in accounting, payroll and employee training before leaving the corporate business and joining the company in 1997.

Our technicians are professional, competent and take great pride in their work. Through the use of trade schools, manufacturer training, in-house training and other industry related training classes, our techs are always continuing to stay current on the changes in equipment. They possess the federal, state and local licenses required to work on HVAC equipment in Washington and Idaho, have background clearance to work in secure areas and are drug-free.

Our office staff is courteous and professional and makes every effort to accommodate the customer scheduling requests in a timely manner. They take great pride in ensuring our customers' invoices are processed with the detail and accuracy they deserve.

We service, install, retrofit and maintain commercial mechanical systems in professional buildings, medical facilities, retirement facilities, large and small retail buildings, bank buildings, daycare facilities, server rooms and government facilities.  

Our experience is on systems that are used to condition air (heat, cool, humidify, or dehumidify). This includes all types of electric or gas heating, cooling and humidification equipment such as heat pumps, furnaces, rooftop units, ductless mini-splits, water source heat pumps, VRF zoning systems, chillers, boilers, ductwork, unit heaters, cooling towers, pumps, controls and exhaust fans.  

We repair equipment that has failed, replace or install new equipment, modify the airflow system for tenant improvements and maintain equipment to help extend the life of the asset.  

We service and repair all brands and install most brands, though we do not service or install oil appliances.

Mechanical equipment is costly and having a competent person on the job can make the difference between the lowest price and the best value. Our goal is to provide our customers the best value and treat our customers as we want to be treated.  

We provide our customers with maintenance plans a priority hourly rate and offer the option to cancel a plan if dissatisfied with our service with no cancellation fee. We believe no customer should be held hostage to a service they are dissatisfied with.
